The XPTools are a suite of packages, modules and patterns for IDEs, speeding
up Java development. Currently available are:
- JUnitX
A module on top of the JUnit
testing framework providing access to private and protected classes,
methods and attributes.
- XPTest
integrates JUnit and JUnitX into the leading UML-modelling tool
Together 5.x. It
provides patterns generating test cases, packages and proxies.
It also features a module to run test cases directly from
Together and test management.
- JIDEAL
The Java Integrated Development
Environment Abstraction Layer makes it possible
to develop modules for multiple IDEs while only programming against
one API.
What benefits do you get from JUnitX and XPTest? The new
tutorial walks you through a
detailed project with lots of screenshots.
